Gatsheni Youth Foundation was born out of a simple but powerful belief: every young person deserves a chance to succeed, regardless of their background or circumstances.
About Gatsheni
Founded in the Gatsheni community, the Foundation began as a response to the challenges faced by many young people limited opportunities, unemployment, lack of guidance, and social pressures that often hold youth back from reaching their full potential. What started as a small, community driven initiative has grown into a platform of hope, empowerment, and positive change.
We saw talented, passionate young people with big dreams but few resources. Instead of watching potential go to waste, we chose to act.

Who We Are
Gatsheni Youth Foundation is a non-profit organisation dedicated to youth development, empowerment, and community upliftment. We are driven by the belief that sustainable change begins with investing in young people equipping them with skills, confidence, and support to build better futures for themselves and their communities. Our work is grounded in values of integrity, inclusivity, unity, and service. We partner with community members, educators, volunteers, and organisations who share our vision of creating opportunities where they are needed most.
Why We Do What We Do
Many young people grow up facing obstacles that limit their chances not because they lack ability, but because they lack access and support. Gatsheni Youth Foundation exists to close that gap. We provide safe spaces for learning, mentorship, creativity, and personal growth.
